For those of you using the Grey Ghost Original Headphones...

I wanted to share with you the huge difference in sound (and volume) by removing the limiting resistor from the Grey Ghost Original headphones that automatically cuts the volume of the shallow targets. This resistor is soldered across the leads of the speaker in the cup where the wires and switches are. Simply turn the speaker over and clip it off with a pair of wire cutters and you now have a pair of Nugget Busters. These are the headphones in the Grey Ghost line without the limiter. Talk about tons of volume and better target definition, especially on smaller shallow targets!! For those of you, (like myself who is half deaf from 25 years of playing drums in rock bands), looking for max volume out of any machine you use, try it, you won't be disappointed!
