I have found coins with pieces of iron in the same hole, when I did I got a null, and a choppy chirp or ring at the same time, when there is only iron I get just the null. I have dug many nulls just to see what they were, and never once was my Sov wrong.

I pay little or no attention to air tests..

I was up real early this morning getting the sound system ready for my community. Its the Norwegian National day were they celebrate their independence. The only country were they don't have military displays... but have children and bands walking the streets.... huge carnival atmosphere.

if you detect on the beach there is no problem but be sure it's not an archeological site.

I didnt see it but I do see its been removed.
there are some sick puppies out there.

We do have systems in place to capture stuff... but the odd one gets through. We have hundredds of these every week. the problem with the antispam system we have is that sometimes other peoples posts get blocked too. Its just a sacrifice we have to make.

Later we will be having a large upgrade and should be able to stop 99% of the rubbish..

I've just found out how easy it is to add special effects to images using Photobucket. I went to Brighton yesterday and took lots of photos on and around the pier. Here's an example of one using the special effects feature (Ghost Train on the pier):

Well I am glad i didnt buy the sef coil now, as I would be feeling a little peeeeeeved

It will be interesting to wait for the field test results, i would prefer to buy a minelab product for a minelab detector
