Have found out there is a Metro Bank near that has a coin machine for use by non-customers. Similar but will give you notes at the counter. Wonder if they take old £1. Will keep you posted.
So accepting the fact that:
a) No bank teller relishes someone turning up with about £120 in low value coins (albeit properly bagged up, double counted and thoroughly cleaned)
b) Working in Covid...
Just show there is still stuff there no matter how many times you go over it. Must dust off the 6" coil at some point but when time is limited always going for the bigger sweep stuff in open fields.
