Same here on one of my permissions I have two "Hollow Ways" which are Saxon going towards the Saxon moated hall. They know they are Saxon due to their V shape rather than the flat Roman roads nearby...

Rich the menu is easy and no more complicated than an ETrac or Explorer. You really need to learn it as its the best beach hunter out there especially on the wet sand :)

Think you will find that most of us have more than one detector. I use the Equinox scouting and general hunts and CTX for any Hot Spots found plus a Deus now gathering dust :)
