Interesting if a little slow. Was more an hour of supposition as to why rather than concentrating on the fact of the treasure itself.

Unfortunately whenever a history programme has some footage using a re-enactment group you know they are running out of ideas.

A good few years ago I was used as a detectorist on Time Team and observed they always shot some footage using actors or a re-enactment group as potential filler footage. If there were lots of finds/excitement then they never made the final cut, if it were a slow dig they were on TV.

Although a fantastic find, I found the programe fairly boring, switched channels.

I was interesting, but understand what you mean not enough video of the finds coming out of the ground and the whole excitement as they found each bit!

God that must have been amazing!
