    Wireless Headphones for Minelab machines.

Here is a link to the Transmitter that some of us have ordered to link to a decent pair of Sennheiser or similar Wireless Radio headphones.
    http://www.bizrate.co.uk/musicalinst...654849202.html

One of our dutch members Krok Dundee has suggested that they work a treat and unlike Bluetooth type phones dont have a time delay between machine - transmitter and headphone.

I am going for a pair of Sennheiser RS 110s from a seller on E Bay priced at £29-99 which is reduced ( £44-99 in Maplins) If it all works, later on I might go for a more expensive pair. I hate wires and cables.

Have seen then before, they are pretty nifty Tony, been to a few gigs where they use them for guitars and things, a lot cheaper than i thought they would be too.
I could sit in the car on rainy digs and get a gopher to swing the coil, then shout DIG IT, haha

Just gone for these below, a slightly better pair at £39-99 + free delivery
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=170276955463

I forgot to mention that both the Guitar transmitter thingy and the headphones both use Rechargeable AAA batteries which makes them extra ideal for long days in the field.

    Wireless Headphones for Minelab machines.

    Hi Tony/All
Good luck with your wireless project.
In a short time the gitar transmitters will be on backorder only.
Tony i don't no if the 110 will work, i definitly now the RS 100
    works.
I prefer a more expensive headset, butt it is difficult to find out wich is the wright one, not all headsets in the 863-865 range will work.
With a wireless micropfon you can also talk with eachother
    You definitly gonna like it.
    Kind regarts

Dumb question Tony but where are you going to store the transmitter box ? Or have I missed something obvious ? That link looks more like something you would use for a home hi-fi. I do hope I`m wrong.

    Wireless Headphones for Minelab machines.

    Hi JC Malony
Its only 7.5 cm, when you putt the plug in, you turn it on the backsite from your detector, because you can turn the transmitter 180 degrees.
And yes, you can use it indoor for your radio or tv,

Hello Mr Maloney if you look at the first post you will see there is a link for a transmitter with a jack plug which you just plug into your detector. The same as I do with my bluetooth headphones.

The main transmitter unit can stay at home plugged into your tele or pc for use when you get home, the guitar transmitter is the bit you plug in the Detector that sends the signal to the phones.

I got a bag of horse muck... and thought I was getting a horse

I do remember stockings and tangerines.
I also really do remember getting a bag of cinders because I was naughty.

Gerrit. It seems like the RS 100s are out of stock everywhere thats why I went for the slightly dearer ones. The RS 120s are about the same price range anyways.

    Wireless Headphones for Minelab machines.

    Hi Tony
Hope it will work, was looking for a much more expensive AKG butt you have to go to the shop with your detector + transmitter to test it.
The rs 100 is an older model.
