I was just wondering whether members' MLOTV videos from the old site will be moved manually by you to the new MLOTV or is it better for us to re-upload our own old videos to the new site? I tried to upload a new video today and everything seemed to be going well but when it finished 'uploading' I was given the message: "Only upload video files!" Not sure what that means as the file was a regular mp4. Thanks!

My suggestion for everyone if you have really large files is to post them up onto YouTube in HD.
You can then link those files back here.
This saves us a lot of hard disk space and bandwidth too.
This site will be ready in a few days to accept videos uploaded directly into our web-space but with a max size of 500mb.
So... if your over that.. upload to YouTube.
The YouTube system is working correctly now.. so you can start right away if you like.

Tried to upload a new video to YouTube but apparently a 16-minute video is "too long" for YouTube (I like how they make you go through the 30-minute uploading process first before they tell you that!) I guess I'll wait until MLOTV can accept direct uploads. I will make sure the files are well under 500MB. Thanks!

Managed to get 'verified' so I can now post longer videos on YouTube. Tried to link one to MLOTV...says it was accepted...I guess we'll see!

As I understand-All the vidoes on the old MLOTV have been permanently deleted then?
(As well as favorites-friends etc...??)
If I missed the procedure for porting my old stuff over to the new site, I will try that.
(Heck I don't mind if my vids got erased - I just want to make sure you keep all of Jerry Kerry's videos!!!!!!)
