    Great news eh?
The finder was ecstatic...and is reportedly "in hiding!"...
Probably planning a return trip to the area but making sure no one follows along...
I got my grubby mitts on a GPX4000 several weeks ago and look out for my thoughts on the machine in "the SEARCHER" FEB 2007 mag...

That's one honker of a nugget for sure. Seems like the GPX 4000 is getting itself a reputation for being a nugget getter.

Gordon, the GPX could actually be an exciting option for coin and relic users as well. As most people who have tried Minelab gold machines in the search for relics and coins soon find out they are over powered for the job, the GPX can be easily dumned down to be less powerful but still provide better depth on targets than an Explorer.

    Food for thought. :-)

I could really use a GPX4000 at the moment.. I am digging a hoard of Gold Staters (5.9gram coins) and have dug everything in the range of the SE.
