Today I put my dog to sleep.. a loyal companion for over 12.5 years... Sam was my best freind.

I have watched this forum grow from nothing to over 11,500 members. I have seen a few of those members now pass away.... but I am thankfull that through this hobby I got to know them.

Look after one another!

Sorry to hear that you had to put your best and most loyal friend and companion down. Just look at this way he has crossed over that rainbow bridge to a better place, he will be there waiting.

Gary. So sorry to hear about Sam. Proper character wasn't he. He loved people with curly hair for some reason, maybe its because he was a sheep dog. He gave us a great laugh that day at the dinner table, pick me, pick me

Gutted for you and the family Gary I have been there to often.
My current dog also a Sam has epilepsy and his fits are becoming more freqent despite the £1200 pa for his medication.
Iam to old for another one but when the time is right you should consider another good friend.
Have you read the Rainbow Bridge perhaps not so I will post you a copy.

hi Gary that is the only bad thing about having a dog just try to think of all the good times you had togther. people who dont have a dog will never know how much a dog is part of the family . all the best m8 we'll be thinking of you vic & angie
