Field 2 is more sensitive as biased to the higher frequencies but at the sacrifice of depth.
I use what's suited to my sites and signals I'm expecting.

You also seem to hit more shallow targets using field 2 , ones field 1 does miss.
That is probably down to the recovery and iron bios setting in field 1 on each particular site .
But maybe field 2...
Has anyone got or permission to detect on land owned by Legal and General?

Usual trade of between sensitivity, depth and targets with the frequency shift.
Same with any detector and the Equinox is very sensitive in both modes.
