    They are high capacity and very good at holding their charge unlike others that discharge even not in use. I have about 24 of them (C, AA and AAA sizes) for over three years now and no failures...

    Sovereign's and Excalibur's have BBS . The Explorer's and ET , Safari , Quattro have FBS 1 and CTX has FBS 2 .

    Costs between 30 and 40 for the batteries and a bit of patience. Not worth it as better to just buy a new dry cell holder for 36 and a set of GP ReCyKo high capacity rechargeable

    The only MF that I am aware of thats available for XP and others to use is over ten years old as Minelab patents have run out on FBS.

    Think you need a phone to do that T :) You should be able too but you just need to establish the positive and negative. You would need thin extensions on the probes to get in the gaps.
