Rather than replace it buy eight ReCyKo AA for the dry cell pod. Save over £85 of the cost of a dedicated Minelab Li-ion battery.
Thats what I use as a backup and get more hunting time plus the keep...
Should get a full days detecting from one with good bit left.
When Im beach hunting normally dawn till dusk a good ten hours in the summer.
Remember you get less time from them in winter cold...
